When twins Camden and Cameron turned 11, they skipped the usual birthday party themes and went full-on cool with a 7-Eleven-inspired bash—and we were here for it! Held at the Cal State Fullerton Student Union Center, this celebration was a vibrant mix of snack bar nostalgia, neon vibes, and modern teen fun.

A Party Inspired by the Ultimate Hangout Spot
Let’s be honest—7-Eleven is iconic. Slurpees, hot dogs, chips, and candy? It’s every kid’s dream snack stop, and this party brought it all to life. With convenience store stands, bold signage, and even a bowling alley inside the venue, this 11th birthday party felt more like a teen hangout than a traditional celebration.
And yes—there were Big Gulps involved.
Balloon Install to Match the Vibe
Pepper Play was thrilled to be part of the décor with a custom single-panel balloon install that perfectly matched the 7-Eleven brand aesthetic. Using a bold combo of green, red, orange, and white, we created a full display centered around a custom birthday board.
The balloon backdrop stood tall near the main snack area, making it the perfect photo op for friends, family, and of course, the birthday duo.
Snacks, Slurpees, and Serious Style
The snacks were next-level—like, convenience-store-meets-party-planner level. Guests could help themselves to everything from Doritos, Cheetos, and Gatorade to fresh pizza slices, hot dogs, lemonade, and Slurpees. Candy lined the stands, and the entire setup mimicked the feel of a 7-Eleven store but with extra fun and color.
And if that wasn’t enough, the party also featured bowling, giving guests something to do between snack runs. It was a perfect combo of fun, freedom, and food—exactly what 11-year-olds want when they’re starting to age out of “little kid” parties.
