Some parties are sweet, others are fun—and Amal’s first birthday was all that and more. We were thrilled to help celebrate this milestone with a returning client we adore. After working on her son’s birthday previously, it was now time for her little girl, Amal, to have her special moment. The celebration took place at their home in Tustin, CA, where perfect spring weather set the tone for a lovely backyard bash.

Soft Play Meets Girly Glam
This party was themed “Girls Just Want to Be 1,” and Amal fully lived up to it! From the minute we arrived, the backyard was glowing with soft, elegant shades of pink, beige, and white—just like the birthday girl herself: sweet, joyful, and full of personality.
We brought in one of our soft play sets, designed especially for little guests to crawl, climb, and explore. The setup included:
- A toddler-friendly ball pit filled with soft white and blush-toned balls
- Cushioned slides that offered safe, fun play
- Soft climbing blocks and barriers that encouraged movement and interaction
- A secure fence to create a cozy play space just for little ones
Watching Amal and her friends giggle, crawl, and tumble around the soft play area was one of the day’s highlights.
Bounce House Fun and Balloon Beauty
Of course, no toddler party is complete without a bounce house—and this one was a hit! We brought in our signature white bounce house, perfectly paired with a custom balloon garland in the party’s color palette. The balloons were light, airy, and whimsical—just like the celebration itself.
To complete the look, a wood panel backdrop with bows and pastel balloon accents became the central photo op. It tied the theme together beautifully and served as a sweet backdrop for family photos and candid moments with Amal.
A Spring Day Full of Sunshine and Smiles
The weather couldn’t have been better—sunny skies, warm temps, and a light breeze made it the perfect afternoon to celebrate outdoors. Guests enjoyed food, photos, and plenty of playtime while Amal made her way around the party with her trademark smile. She was truly the star of the day—curious, active, and surrounded by love.
Celebrating a Milestone with Meaning
