On June 28th, we had the pleasure of helping celebrate Evelyn’s (Evie’s) very first birthday at her family’s home in Capistrano Beach. The parents chose the sweetest garden bunny theme, and with their beautiful home located near the ocean, it made for the perfect backdrop. The gentle sea breeze, the cozy gated courtyard, and the thoughtful decorations created a warm and welcoming space for family and friends.

The Setup: Soft Play + Toddler Bounce House
For this special day, the family rented our medium soft play set along with our popular toddler bounce house. The setup was perfect for the gated courtyard, which provided a safe space where little ones could play freely.
Highlights included:
- Bunny-Themed Touches – A charming welcome sign and little bunnies tucked around the garden tied the whole party together.
- Customized Toddler Bounce House – Complete with a ball pit and a personalized banner that read “Evie is One” with adorable bunny ears.
- Soft Play Area – The medium set was a big hit, giving toddlers and young children a safe place to climb, crawl, and explore.
Together, the bounce house and soft play created the perfect combination for active play while still fitting beautifully within the garden theme.
A Beautiful Day by the Ocean
Capistrano Beach is such a unique area for parties — with its coastal location, families and guests enjoy that refreshing ocean breeze all day long. The atmosphere at Evie’s celebration felt light, bright, and relaxed, making it a memorable first birthday for everyone.
Behind the Scenes
Every party teaches us something new. This time, the street leading up to the family’s home was quite narrow, which made maneuvering our trailer a challenge. Thankfully, there was a community center just a few hundred feet away, and we were able to turn around safely there before heading back to the house. Little details like this remind us how important preparation and flexibility are when setting up parties in unique neighborhoods.
Celebrating Evie’s First Year
Seeing Evie’s name displayed on the bounce house, surrounded by family and friends, was such a special moment. The combination of thoughtful décor, the family’s beautiful home, and our play setup made the day one to remember.
